Climbs Mohonk Mountain

Unsure if the rain would stay at bay we decided to say fuck it and make the drive to Mohonk Montain. While driving there were sprinkles of rain here and there,  but the skies were clear when we finally reached Mohonk. The hotel was unbelievable, the  fresh rain made everything so green and lush. Our walk around the lake was cut short when steve realized he had lost his hat (a gift from me last year) we did some serious back tracking to no avail. We decided it was time for the big hike. We opted for the trail with the  vague warning if difficult. It was filed with boulders,  wood ladders, crevives, little rabbit holes. It was an epic hike with an epic ending. The look out tower at the very to haver you a view of 6 states! We decided to take the easy way down and came across a friendly deer, she let us get inches away from her. You would think nothing could to this off...but as we walked back to the car on a post someone had  hung steves hat. EPIC!
