Eat Mastsubara-dori

After Kodaiji I left my friends to head back to the apt for a home cooked meal with Michael. We had already decided to make falafel, baba ganoush, and fried lotus chips. I decided it would be nice to grab some beer before I got home. Later Jesco came over to partake in our cooking. I should have taken more food photos. It was the best falafel, I've ever had, and lotus chips...yum!

As plans often change, well at least mine do, I have decided to completely alter my travel plans. Having fallen in love with Kyoto and some miss-connections with my other hosts, my friends advice me to do day trips. That way I get more use out of my Japan Rail Pass and can see more. Over dinner I asked Michael if I could stay longer than expected, he graciously welcomed me longer. Thank you Michael.

This beer was not bought from the liquor shop vending machine.
